Abby Zoch
Treasurer Abby has served as Psi Chi’s treasurer since the Spring of 2022. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Neuroscience and Business Administration. She was previously involved with the Panther Marching Band for two years, but is currently a graduate assistant for EIU’s financial aid and scholarships office and is working part-time at Sarah Bush Lincoln as a Registration Clerk in the emergency department. Abby is now a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She will graduate in the Spring of 2024 and intends to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor working with adolescents and young adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. |
Theo Edwards
Secretary Theo Edwards is a junior here at EIU and will be graduating in the summer of 2023 with their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Theo majors in Psychology with a double minor in Journalism and Sociology. For the past two years, Theo has been involved in the Daily Eastern News as a news reporter, columnist and opinions editor. Besides being the secretary of Psi Chi at EIU, Theo also holds office as the Action Director of Pride at EIU. Upon graduating from Eastern, Theo plans to pursue their Masters in Clinical Psychology before going on to obtain a Ph.D. Their ultimate goal is to become a Research Psychologist with interests in child psychology, social psychology, as well as sensation and perception. |
Kelly Ann Mcshea
Social Media Chair Kelly Ann joined the Eastern Illinois University chapter of Psi Chi as their Social Media Chair in 2022. She is a senior with a GPA of 4.0 and is the proud recipient of the Phi Theta Kappa Merit Transfer Scholarship and the EIU Transfer Academic Excellence Tier 1 Scholarship. She will graduate in Spring 2023, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a split major in Psychology and Communications. Before attending EIU, Kelly Ann graduated from Yavapai College with distinguished honors and was the Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International. Her chapter won the Distinguished Chapter Award for its exceptional teamwork, leadership, honor's in action participation, and organizational engagement. She also held the position of President of the Yavapai College English Club. Kelly Ann will continue her education and pursue a Master of Arts in Communication. She hopes to one day benefit an organization by enhancing its organizational effectiveness, increasing employee motivation and performance, and promoting healthy and productive interpersonal relationships through the lens of workplace psychology. |
